The Sound of Music Sing-a-long – closed
We’re lucky enough to get to attend a performance or two at the Hollywood Bowl every year. It’s always fun to pack a picnic and spend an evening watching a show. We’re big fans of the bowl, so I was really excited when I was offered a chance to give away a pair of tickets to The Sound of Music Sing-A-Long.
First of all, The Sound of Music is such a fantastic film. We re-watched it recently and it is just so great. Seeing it at the bowl would be such fun. One lucky reader will win a pair of tickets to the show on Saturday, September 21st.

My favorite song is “How Do You Solve a Problem Like Maria” – random I know, but R and I bust out this song whenever we need a little music but don’t have access to anything but our voices. Also, it calms down our niece (6 months) when she’s fussing. Best song ever. Would be awesome to sing it at the Bowl!

Well, my favorite song changes a lot, but currently it is “I Must Have Done Something Good.” My friends and I just had a SOM singalong last weekend!
Hard to pick JUST ONE…but “Favorite Things”! I’ve used it to calm down crying babies…and it works! “Liked” C & D 🙂

My favorite song has to be Sixteen Going On Seventeen since I’ve been to Salzburg where the exterior shots were with the gazebo and everything. Brings back such awesome memories! 🙂
Also, Rolf is gorgeous, but the whole Nazi thing is a huge turn-off.

Julie Andrews is beyond enchanting …seeing her on the big screen sing this (as a teenager) she took my breath away. Beautiful song, beautifully staged and photographed, and she is trancendent.
